A night of community building, knowledge sharing, and bikepacking out of Williston, Vermont…
On Saturday, May 21st bikepackers and the bikepacking curious are invited to gather with their fully loaded bikepacking/touring rigs for some socializing and sharing, and a little overnight adventure.
From 11-2pm we’ll spend time connecting with others, sharing knowledge, and discovering new adventure partners and ideas.
Then at 2pm we’ll wrap things up and we’ll move the party into the woods for a night of primitive camping in Camel’s Hump State Forest. The site is a ~14 mile ride away, has a fire ring and water source, but no other facilities.
Sunday, we’ll wake up and return to our homes or our cars.
This event is FREE.
For those that don’t have all the necessary equipment, or want to bring a friend… Limited gear is available through the Vermont Bikepackers Gear Share: https://bit.ly/3v5LEUN
We’re hoping to see a variety of bikepacking and touring setups represented so those new to the sport can see that you don’t need a lot of fancy gear to get out there… but also can see what’s possible with careful selection of equipment and gear.
