This self supported bikepacking route has no entry fee, no starting gun, and no cheering finish line. The 250+ mile route circumnavigates the Catskill mountains while climbing over 25,000 vertical feet. On this route you will find all types of terrain: smooth paved road, flowing singletrack descents and gnarly hike-a-bike. Riders will get to experience everything that the Catskill mountains have to offer, from the steep high peaks topped with fire towers, to the deep winding valleys that follow along the waterways. The Catskill Mountains offer a truly unique and challenging environment for bikepacking.

For the fit and experienced bikepacker, this route is intended to be completed in about three riding days with sleep every night. Additional time would be needed for those who plan to travel more slowly, or at a touring pace.

Trackleaders.com will be providing optional tracking for all participants, as well as ITT riders.
