Join Dirtbag Cycles on Vancouver Island for a big day of bikes, community, and no-drop fun…
We are planning a roughly 100 km mixed surface gravel ramble ride on unceded K’omoks First Nation territory. The event is going to be a big old ride starting at Cumberland Lake at 11 a.m. on August 27, 2022. It’ll be a big day in the saddle, but we are doing a no-drop, party pace ride and will be waiting for people at certain spots. The idea is we get to hang out together and not to do it as quickly as possible.
This is an inclusive safe space event and everyone is welcome. We are also asking people to be COVID-19 safe, wear masks when near others to keep socially distant. Odds are good we’re not going to be endemic by the time we get going, so let’s keep each other safe, yeah? Also prizes, swimming holes, potential sasquatch sightings, slow riding, fun having good time. Waiver required, camping optional.
