The Dorset Divide follows a stunning 330-mile (531km) mixed terrain route around Dorset in southern England…
The grand depart from the start point will leave at 5am on Thursday 31st July. Cut-off time will be 5pm Sunday 3rd August. There will be a briefing and food served at the sign-up on Wednesday 30th July.
The route is 330 miles (531km) with roughly 22,000ft (6705m) of climbing . There are steep and challenging climbs and descents, as well as fast and flat sections. We would suggest riders examine the route and plan carefully before arriving at the sign-up. The final 2025 route with any corrections will be released June 2025. There will be 2 checkpoints staggered at roughly equal distances across the route.
The route will start at Portland Bill on the Isle of Portland and finish at the HQ. It follows a circular route around Dorset taking in its most spectacular views, exciting trails and country lanes. 2025 will feature a similar route and some different trails to the previous editions, taking riders across countryside routes and coastlines all around Dorset!
