In 2022 Argentina Gravel Bikes, our sister community, held the first international bikepacking gathering in the breathtaking Patagonia Argentina. During this event we crossed the Andes on our bikes marking the beginning of this event’s history. Following a successful first edition, the baton was passed to us and this 2023 Chile became the host for the second version of this event aiming to continue what we hope will evolve into a world-class, self-sufficient gathering organized by various cycling communities worldwide.
In this edition of EBI 2023, we’ll embark on a 5-day adventure exploring volcanoes, rivers, lakes and forests, covering a total distance of 300 km with an elevation gain of +5000m. Together, we’ll savor the beauty of these stunning landscapes in southern Chile, where part of this route follows the renowned Monkey Puzzle Trail.
The event registration is free, but to attend you have to purchase a ticket of $45 USD only for camping area reservations.
