EuroPEAKS 1500 (2020)

EuroPeaks 1500 is a new series of organized road bikepacking challenges with fixed route in the length of 1,500km. Races will start from Czechia and lead riders over major european peaks and passes, and along interesting places of Europe. Each year there will be a different route, different final destination and different hills. Common length about 1,500 km and a limit of 6 days (shorter version 1,200km).

As a target of the first year I chose Makarska. The route will lead from Břeclav along side roads through the center of Vienna, through the hills of the Austrian and Julian Alps, around amazing Lake Predil, the old city of Trieste, the Velebit, Paklenica and Krka National Parks, the Adriatic Highway, Vinnetou´s landscape and up to the legendary peak Sveti Jure. Along the way we will gradually overcome also Solkpass, Mangart, Vrsic, Vojak, and Mali Alan. Shorter version will finish in Skradin. If you arrive in advance, you can bath in the sea before traveling home. In case of sufficient number of people I will try to organize a bus for getting back to the start point.
