Organizer: Jeremy Deme

FTW500’s first annual grand depart features 550 kms (6,395 meters/ 20,980 feet) of remote “gravel”/off roads which the eastern Canadian Laurentians are renowned for.

Heading North via “roads” less traveled into lake country, wilderness, and serenity. Riding through well over 100 lakes and following the Red River for over 50kms, this rugged route brings riders through many quaint QC towns and of course follows ample water/ infinite swim spots! While predominantly in the Laurentians, the route does spend some time in the Outaouais region (South-West part of the route).

The start is located a little over an hour from both Montreal and Ottawa, it moves North into the remote Papineau Labelle Wildlife Reserve, then connects east into the isolated Rouge-Matawin Wildlife Reserve and Mont Tremblant National Park.

Whether racing or riding at party pace (in good company), join us for the very first of many to come FTW500 grand departs!
