The Fried Clay is a self-supported endurance gravel event that takes you through Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest…
Choose between a 134 or 263-mile adventure through Georgia’s Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest. Experience some of the best off-road riding Middle Georgia has to offer. Can be ridden at race pace, or party pace. Expect gravel, singletrack, horse trails, water crossings, and gas-station food.
This year’s race is an on-your-own version due to Covid, so you have the entire month of March to complete the route solo, or with a small team. There will be an ongoing leaderboard all month long to keep up with how folks are doing. It’s a bummer we can’t all be out there together, but I feel this is the safest way to keep things rolling.
All participants will receive a commemorative Fried Clay patch, and all finishers will get a super limited edition piece of swag! Also, there will still be the beloved mini-cast iron skillets for the fastest and slowest times!
So what are ya waitin’ for? Sign up already! This is one of the most fun routes in the Southeast, and I can’t wait to share it with all y’all!
