GCOR is a gravel circumnavigation of the Olympic Mountain Range in Washington…
Riding around an entire mountain range: how cool is that! GCOR is a 440 mile unsupported ride around the rugged and remote Olympic Mountains in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. GCOR comes in three flavors: regular (436mi/41,000ft), lite (387mi/34,000ft), and hardcore (457mi/49,500ft) to deliver a challenge commensurate to a rider’s level of sanity. The route links up some of the best roads, climbs and trails in Washington into one epic loop. You will traverse majestic and wild rivers, old growth rainforests, working forests, 20+ miles of flowing singletrack, and so so much climbing.
The grand depart is scheduled for 7/1/2023 in Sequim, WA. Expect the transit to take between 3-6 days (current FKT is 69h20m) with about a 50% attrition rate. More information, route description, and registration info can be found at the web page or at our Facebook group, GCOR Bikepacking Challenge. Take up the challenge!
