A 1100 km self supported bike-packing event around the South Island of New Zealand. Taking in the iconic Mackenzie High Country, the Lakes, and through to Central Otago and Southland and back again to the High Country. You will start and finish in the scenic setting of Lake Tekapo.
The course is designed to be as much as possible off road and takes in high passes in the beautiful but rugged central South Island ranges. It will follow many historic tracks and will be a physically challenging and rewarding adventure. 2019 is the 5th running of this iconic New Zealand back country ride.
