Grusk is a gravel race up to the highest peak in West Virginia, including two overnight routes for those seeking a longer ride…
GRUSK is an adventure-cycling race on and around the highest peak in West Virginia…Spruce Knob! The weekend event is hosted out of a private venue within the Monongahela National Forest in the mountains of West Virginia. Five route options are available to riders to choose, ranging from our 25-mile Highlights route, to our monster 212-mile GRUSK VENTI route.
Bikepackers and endurance racers have the 140-mile GRUSK GRANDE and 213-mile GRUSK VENTI routes to challenge themselves across high ridges and into deep valleys, passing through idealic mountain towns, and though some of the most remote areas in West Virginia.
GRUSK weekend includes (COVID pending) mountaintop camping, meal plans, post race food and beverages, live music, dorm rooms, vendors, and comradery with fellow cycling adventurists like yourself.
GRUSK is a true challenge for the adventurous spirit within every cyclist and one you don’t want to miss.
