Some of you might know already about my passion for riding bikes, the freedom and mental space that gives me is what some people might define as meditation, and that is what moves me to feel so happy and comfortable when I’m riding.
This time I’m going to ride from my house in London all the way to the centre of the capital of Spain, Madrid, right to the iconic La Bicicleta Cafe. I will be riding solo, unsupported, and NON-STOP! Yes, you read right! My plan is to start at my house in South London and cycle all the way to Madrid aiming to complete ride under 70 hours.
This time I’ll be raising funds in support to ELLA’s (LINK IN BIO), who works with women who have survived trafficking and sexual exploitation. The need is urgent and vast, and ELLA’s do all they can to meet the need.
ELLA’S is committed to providing the best care for as many survivors as they can.
Their support is intensive and tailored to the individual. ELLA’S team provides direct, regular support for more than 30 people and families, and help when needed for dozens more across their network. ELLA’S care deeply about survivors of trafficking and exploitation and want to see a world where these crimes are not tolerated.
Social Ride: with the support of La Bicicleta and the amazing cycling community we’ll be organising a social ride on my arrival to the Spanish capital, hoping this way to increase the awareness and to help Ella’s as well as to enjoy the ride altogether. It will be an all-levels ride, it’s not a race 😉 I hope to see as many of you as possible and have a drink at the end.
