Lost Ride 2026

Lost Ride carries forward the legacy of Loudání, the first bikepacking race in Europe. This will mark the 19th edition in which unsupported riders set out to uncover wild trails in the heart of the continent. Participants can navigate using printed map sheets or the MapCatch app, which reveals only the next 5 km. Each rider chooses between maintaining broader situational awareness or committing to a thin line of navigation with built-in uncertainty. The MapCatch app also lets riders see one another, heightening the competitive edge at the front and strengthening camaraderie throughout the field.

Thanks to the nature of the routing, Lost Ride offers an unusually intense sense of adventure while unfolding in one of the safest and most bikepacking-friendly regions on Earth.
