Nordic Chase: Berlin to Copenhagen 2027
Berlin, Germany 459.8mi (739km)
Nordic Chase is a 740km unsupported gravel race from Berlin to Copenhagen…
Nordic Chase is a series of self-supported ultra races. Each “chase” connects two major capital cities in northern Europe.
This 2027 chase runs from Berlin to Copenhagen and goes through Northern Germany and Sjælland Denmark connected by the Puttgarden-Rødby ferry.
Riders have the option to choose between the gravel or the road route. The gravel route is 740 km, has 3,740 km of elevation gain and consists of 60% and 40% unpaved surfaces. Northern Germany (particularly the Brandenburg area) is characterized by relatively sandy gravel sections which makes this race quite punchy. Sjælland, which is the 2nd half of the race (after the Puttgarden / Rødby ferry), is characterized by gucci gravel!
2027 will be the second edition of the Berlin to Copenhagen Chase.
The race will have a capacity of 100 persons for the road route and 100 persons for the gravel route.
Riders have the option to choose for the Social Classification (drafting is allowed) or the Solo Classification (non-draft) and the cut-off time is 100 hours.
