Pain au Chocolat is an adventurous 1000 km ride through some of the most beautiful but less known areas of France: Drôme, Cévennes, Vercors, Vaucluse, Gard, Ardèche, … Deep canyons, deserts, rock formations, rough little roads winding through mountains and along rivers – always on the search for the next Pain au Chocolat.
It’s a self-supported bikepacking event, created to explore new places, challenge yourself and meet up with fellow adventurers.
PARTY-PACE START
Do you plan to stop at every bakery, get a good rest every night or you simply know that you’re not the fastest? With our Party-Pace Start you can give yourself a headstart of 24 hours! (17 August)
Party-Pace Riders will show in the tracking, the checkpoints and the finish, but not in any ranking or leaderboard. They are allowed to share the road, ride in groups (even drafting), share the fun – they are here for the party!
Party-Pace Riders are still not allowed to get outside assistance. But they can group up and help each other!
