Piemontgravel offers four routes—111 km, 222 km, 333 km, and 444 km—each tracing a different line through the provinces of Cuneo, Asti, and Turin.
Piedmont sits at the foot of the Alps, a region shaped by foggy mornings, ancient vineyards, and hills that rise and fall like quiet waves. It’s a land of wine routes, truffle forests, and medieval villages—its heart formed by the UNESCO landscapes of Langhe, Roero, and Monferrato, home to Barolo, one of Italy’s most renowned red wines, and a rich regional cuisine. Piemontgravel is a self-supported, non-competitive bikepacking event and an invitation to explore this lesser-known corner of northern Italy from the saddle of your bike.
Now in its 6th edition, the event offers four routes—111 km, 222 km, 333 km, and 444 km—each tracing a different line through the provinces of Cuneo, Asti, and Turin. Gravel roads cut across the hills, ridgelines open to wide horizons, and farm tracks link villages where time moves slowly.
Starts and finishes unfold in Bra, at Villa Moffa—an early-1900s residence turned base camp, where riders from around the world gather before scattering into the hills. Four lines on a map, one territory to cross, and a journey defined by the landscape, the people, and what’s on the table at the end of the day.
