Race Through Poland is a self-supported event that takes riders through the most beautiful and hilly southern parts of Poland, and Czech Silesia.
Race Through Poland is a one stage, long-distance cycling race leading through the most beautiful and at the same time the most demanding mountain passes of Poland and its southern surroundings. It is based on the principles of self-sufficiency and is inspired by the most important events of this type in the world such as The Transcontinental Race or The TransatlanticWay Race.
The third edition of the race turns to the Carpathian Mountains and it is mainly there that the most important part of this fantastic adventure will take place. While navigating between four checkpoints, over a distance of about 1,500 km, competitors will visit Little, Zywiecki, Wyspowy and Sadecki Beskids, Gorce, Slovakian Pienins, Low Tatras, Spisz and Orava. It promises to be a lot of beautiful, but difficult climbing. If you love mountains, then this race is just for you.
Every rider will be equipped with a GPS device, so they can be tracked and followed through the RTP website. There are no pre-qualifications to the race. We would like to have it as accessible and fair to everyone as possible. There will be two categories: solo and pair so riders can choose their best wanted option.
We strongly encourage everybody to sign into our newsletter from our website.
We start in May because we want Race Through Poland to be a foretaste of the season of “great” long-distance bicycle races that we love so much.
