From Munich to Ferrara, the Rando Imperator is the only Randonnée that crosses the Alps, from Germany to Italy passing through Austria…
Go down in history with this series of randonnée along the ancient Via Claudio Augusta, a road dating back to the Roman Empire, one of Europe’s longest and nicest touristic cycle routes today.
Three randonées will be held on May 3rd and 4th, 2025 on the AUDAX ARI calendar: 300 km’s from Munich to Bolzano, 300 km’s from Bolzano to Ferrara and the 600 km challenge from Munich to Ferrara: a unique way to cross Europe by bike.
Two days to get from Munich to Ferrara on a bike: an idea that inspired cyclists across Italy and abroad. 300 participants from all over the world faced the Alps’ climbs every edition. Witoor is ready to offer you an unforgettable event for its 10th edition through a mix of bike love and tourism: from Germany to Italy passing through Austria, different landscapes and views, from mountains to plains.
Participants will be a part of history pedalling through the woods of Bavaria, the Austrian dirt climbs, along rivers and breathing nature’s perfume.
Born in 2015, to celebrate its 10 years Rando Imperator will offer a new extra 1200 km route for its tenth edition; this route for the moment is in a test phase and it’s not yet available as an Audax brevet: the Ferrara-Munich-Ferrara. A circular route that from Thursday 1st to Sunday 4th of May will offer the chance of crossing the Alps twice: the first half up to Bavaria will follow the route of the Munich-Venice, with a stop in Niederdorf, in the upper Pustertal, while the second part will join the now classic route along the Via Claudia Augusta together with the participants of the other bre-vets.
