We’re bringing back one of bikepacking.com’s “best new events of 2022” for a second year!

Once again we’re teaming up with local bikepacking legend Annie (@a_girl_outside), to host a four day/four night camp for women, non-binary and trans riders to explore some of the finest and wildest gravel riding that Scotland has to offer.

From our beautiful secluded basecamp close to Aviemore, we’ll spend a couple of days exploring the local trails on day-ride loops, before embarking on an overnight bikepacking trip.

Each day, we’ll provide a couple of specially curated gravel routes to choose from, and you an choose what and how you want to ride. There’ll be full day epics for those who seeking a challenge, and a more mellow route for those still finding their gravel legs. Choose to ride with a guided group, alone, or with buddies. Wherever and however you ride, you’ll be taking in some of the UK’s most gorgeous landscapes and we’ll all regroup back at basecamp to share dinner, skills sessions, and stories of the day,

On our third morning, we’ll all set out on an overnight bikepacking trip, splitting in to smaller groups and heading into the wilds of the Cairngorms. This will be a true Scottish adventure, embracing the freedom to wild camp, and heading deep into the mountains with lochs and swimming spots a plenty. There’ll be two overnighter options to suit different riders and experiences, and we’ll have guided groups heading out on both.

If you’re new to bikepacking – awesome. We’ll have gear to loan and lots of tips to share to help you get ready and guides to ride with. If you’ve already caught the bikepacking bug – great. We’ve got one heck of a route in store for you.

Expect the usual Sisters In The Wild for our three nights at basecamp – communal meals, campfires, and chances to share and build some new skills. This weekend is as much about building community and sharing the experience with good people as it is about epic rides.

We’ll have a few subsidised spots available for under-represented groups, or who face financial barriers to joining. Drop us an email.
