SNEAK PEAKS Bikepacking Expedition ADVENTURE (2026)

SNEAK PEAKS is a fixed-route, unsupported, single-stage bikepacking expedition that begins and ends in Bolzano. The track crosses the Italian Dolomites and the highest ranges of Northern Italy, stitching together remote ridgelines, empty valleys and places most people will never reach. Expect a fair amount of hike-a-bike and stretches of exposed, high-alpine terrain. It’s known for being to most challenging route worldwide. In sharp contrast to the terrain’s severity, 13 carefully chosen rifugios open their doors as checkpoints – serving hospitality, food, drinks and shelter. Participants can choose from three routes:

ENTREE: 500 km, 17,000 m elevation gain, 4 checkpoints
CLASSIC: 800 km, 28,000 m elevation gain, 8 checkpoints
ADVENTURE: 1,100 km, 40,000 m elevation gain, 12 checkpoints
