Formerly the long course of the Antelope Peak Challenge, it was later turned into it’s own event beginning at Picketpost and finishing at Tiger Mine TH in Oracle. After participation dwindled (this is a super hard single day ride with the fastest riders completing it in 12 hours, and stragglers finishing in 20+) we have decided to experiment with breaking this outstanding stretch of the Arizona National Scenic Trail into 2 big hefty days of riding.

Who: anyone ready to ride two long, backcountry days with a planned campsite in between
When: Valentine’s Day weekend, 2026
Where: Picketpost Trailhead to Tiger Mine Trailhead along the best section of the Arizona Trail
Why: because bikepacking is the bee’s knees
