The Great Southeastern Loop 2026

Riders on TGSL will enjoy some of Southeastern New South Wales most iconic country, nature, people and places on this mind-blowing adventure.

With 17,700m of elevation, on a mix of 80% sealed and 20% gravel surfaces the ride passes through 3 checkpoints which riders must reach before the cutoff times to achieve Looper status.

Riders check in on Saturday 24th in Wollongong and meet the rest of the field for the pre event briefing. With live tracking and comprehensive ride information provided to all riders – “The Loopers Almanac” – as well as other goodies this is a well thought out, exhilarating and interactive event.

Departing from Wollongong just 80km south of Sydney in spring on the last Sunday in October the Loop allows riders to experience the stunning NSW Southeast in all its diverse grandeur.

Along winding Australian country roads and trails, through towns and villages, scenic valleys and forested ridges, mighty rivers and quiet creeks, farmland and bush, past stunning beaches and up through the majestic Snowy Mountain Alps – this is an awesome ride! Do Something Great!
