We offer 3 Events start 7am mountain Time 20 July 2019:
Prospector – 60 mile
Sprint – 355 mile
Ultra Race – 740 Miles
From Beulah, WY to Pierre, SD (Checkpoint 1) riders will experience climbing through Ghost towns, Old Mines and single track in the Black Hills NF, touring the Mickelson Trail, riding through Mount Rushmore and finish with a 5 mile Packrafting segment down the Missouri River. This 355 mile route also includes riding through Buffalo Gap National Grassland and Badlands National Park.
After completing the 5 mile packraft with bike in tow, racers will continue 174 miles through the plains of South Dakota. The Corn Palace in Mitchell, SD marks Checkpoint 2. From here, racers will push 206 miles to the finish in Sioux City, IA.
Racers requiring transportation can add this option for $200. With the transportation option we will also pick you up on the closest public road should a misfortunate event happen. In case of medical emergency please call 911 first.
Participants with transportation option will leave their car in Sioux Falls, SD. Pick up will be at 7:00 A.M. at 825 S. Walts Ave., Sioux Falls, SD, 57104. After completing the race (within the race timeline), transportation will be provided from the finish line back to your car.
