The challenging route begins in the Basque coastal town of Pasaia, nestled near San Sebastián on the Bay of Biscay, and finishes in the Mediterranean village of Llançà, located in the comarca of Alt Empordà in Catalonia.
Spanning 1,074km with a staggering 27,000 meters of elevation gain, this demanding course features 34 mountain passes (Cols), including the legendary Tourmalet (2,115 m) and the awe-inspiring, one-way Col de Troumouse (2,090m).
Now in its fifth edition, the route will feature more backroads and explosive finales in the Basque Pyrenees. Expect steep gradients, relentless terrain, and punchy climbs; this is a true rider’s challenge from coast to coast.
