WeedSac 140 (2023)

The WeedSac is a non-competitive bike tour in the Sacramento Mountains. Expect to ride at high elevation (7000-9500 feet) through the forest. Almost no part of the ride is flat. Climb, descend, repeat. Most folks will want 2-3 days to complete the entire route. Camping is available along almost the entire route. WS 140 is primarily on well maintained forest roads but has a few short spicy sections. Resupply is readily available at small country stores.

Gravel bikes will work but we suggest running 44mm tires or larger. Mountain bikes are a fine choice too.

We’ll reserve a campsite near the start for 5/18/2033. After that we’ll offer nothing but a fantastic route through the forest with some new friends.

Registration will open on February 1. We’ll post an P.O. Box address on our social media and riders will register via postcard. Limited to 74 participants.
