Yaku 300 Bikepacking Race is a self-supported event of approximately 324 km through the western Andes. The tour begins in the Central Park from Cumbaya to the city of Cotacachi. The train track will be the beginning of the route until crossing the Guayllabamba River basin and connecting with the Mojanda lagoon. The route continues north passing through the Cuicocha crater and descending towards the Intag Valley and then going up towards the Pinan Community within the Cotacachi Cayapas Reserve. The last segment is to arrive at the town of Cahuasqui and arrive by internal roads to the city of Cotacachi.
