Logan’s Take: To add to Neil’s review above, I thought I’d toss in my two cents with a few pros and cons. I also got to try out the new Big Agnes Tiger Wall UL2 Bikepack prior to its release. Virginia and I used it for several nights on a scouting trip, and then a couple overnighters this past fall. For a two-person tent, it’s fairly spacious. We usually use a 3-person tent as 2p options are never wide enough. However, the long footprint helps, as does the gear loft and storage. We also really appreciate Big Agnes’ move to a more environmentally sustainable dying process (and the fact that they used a nice neutral color).

Pros

  • New sustainable and UV resistant solution-dyed fabric and neutral color scheme
  • Dual vestibules, gear loft, and long footprint makes it tolerable for two-person use
  • Shorter pole segments are better for fitting in frame bags of all sizes
  • Tiplok Tent Buckle system is nice and easy to use

Cons

  • Two person tents are never truly big enough for two and I wish Big Agnes would move to a 2.5-person design in the floor width
  • Fairly expensive and not as light as some options; but the short pole set is the tradeoff
