Virginia-based Endpoint just opened preorders for their 2020 Coffee Grinder all-road frameset, which they say is, “one bike for every century, commute, camping trip, gravel crusher, gran fondo, or just getting out there and seeing where the road ends.” The frame is designed around European-inspired road geometry that Endpoint says was drawn up for power and responsiveness in the climb and stability and handling in the descent.
The Endpoint Coffee Grinder is hand-built by Elephant Bikes in Colbert, Washington, and the 2020 version has been updated with Columbus ZONA and Life tubing, flat mount discs, 12mm thru-axle dropouts, and a machined 44mm headtube from Paragon Machine Works. They’ve also used a new tubing shape in the rear triangle for bigger tire clearance, which has been upped to 700 x 38mm or 650b x 50mm. Beyond that, the frame remains unchanged for the new year, and is still optimized for for comfort and control on all-day mixed surface rides.

Coffee Grinder Size and Color Options
Riders can choose from six sizes, ranging from Small to Extra large (527mm to 590mm top tube). This year’s Coffee Grinder is available in six colors: Gloss Black, Speedway Grey, Blush Red, Tired Moss, Coyote Tan, and Santa Fe Blue. Custom powder coating is available for an additional $150.
The price for a 2020 Endpoint Coffee Grinder is $1,850, which includes the frame, Cane Creek 40 headset, and your choice of a Whisky #9 TA carbon fork or a carbon Rodeo Labs Spork 1.2. Fork and headset upgrades are available for an added fee. Because their frames are made by hand in a small shop, buyers can expect to wait 4-6 weeks for delivery.
