Lynskey Announces 2020 Adventure Edition GR300

Lynskey’s new titanium GR300 ‘Adventure Edition’ gravel bike looks to be an interesting option for those on the hunt for a comfortable, versatile, titanium gravel bike. As Lynskey puts it, the new GR300 Adventure Edition is for “gravel and adventure-focused riders who demand a bike that ticks all the boxes: road, gravel, rugged commuter, and bike packing. Those who long to ride on road one day and gravel the next, but crave that titanium comfort ride with a smooth finish.” We definitely can’t argue with the benefits of riding a titanium frame, and with generous tire clearance, nice details, and a good selection of bottle and accessory mounts, the new GR300 looks like a pretty fun bike. In true Lynskey fashion, the GR300 is not available in one clear-cut build, but has over 15 different builds to choose from, including various frame finishes, graphic colours, and wheelsets. To get an idea, the base SRAM Rival 2x build, including a full set of Nittany Mountain Works bags, is priced at $4,063. This price can easily be increased with upgraded wheels, finishes, and small components. Depending on desired components, the complete build could be closer to $10,000 if you want a Shimano Dura Ace Di2 drivetrain, Stan’s Avion Team Disc wheelset, and other high-end components.
