Announced this morning, Salsa Cycles has launched their 2021 fat bike lineup, which includes the Beargrease, Mukluk, and Blackbarrow. Although the frames and features remain the same for all three, the Beargrease and Mukluk receive new colourways and build kits. There aren’t any drastic changes, besides the introduction of Shimano 12-Speed XT and SLX drivetrains and some different price points, depending on what you’re looking for.

2021 Salsa Beargrease

From Salsa: Beargrease is our fat bike built to go faster than you knew fat bikes could go. The carbon fiber frame and fork and 27.5 x 3.8” wheels and tires cover challenging terrain quickly. Cargo mounts let you carry everything you need in the backcountry. Beargrease is perfect for testing yourself in a snowy endurance race or embarking on a long-distance overnight bike trip.
