The 45NRTH Naughtvind shell lineup has been around for a while and is made for riding in cold and snowy conditions. Virginia tested the jacket a few years back and was quite impressed (find that linked in the Related Content grid at the bottom of the post). The revamped lineup features a new stretchy water- and wind-resistant outer shell material made of 88% recycled nylon, plus a new slate color option. Find details on the three main pieces below.
45NRTH Naughtvind Jacket
The revamped version of the Naughtvind Jacket gets the new 88% recycled nylon outer shell material, and like the former version, it has a long rear drape to protect against trail spray. Other features include side vents, zippered and open rear pockets, a zippered chest pocket, reflective accents, and 45NRTH’s signature asymmetrical front zipper to prevent chin rub while pedaling.
Naughtvind Jackets are available for $295 in a men’s cut (straighter) in sizes SM–XXL with black or slate colorway options; and a women’s cut (more fitted) in sizes XS–XXL in black only. Find all the details over at 45NRTH.com.
45NRTH Naughtvind Pants
The Naughtvind Pants are made from the same recycled nylon outer shell material. The pants are fleece-lined in the thigh area for added warmth. The high-waisted cut is designed to fit over the new Naughtvind Bibs and features an adjustable waist and ankle. Other features include side vents, and reflective accents for visibility.
Naughtvind Pants are available for $210 in a men’s cut (straighter) in sizes SM–XXL with black or slate color options; and a women’s cut (more fitted) in sizes XS–XXL in black only. Find all the details over at 45NRTH.com.
45NRTH Naughtvind Vest
The Naughtvind Vest features the same water- and wind-resistant soft-shell material as the jacket and pants, which is also made with 88% recycled nylon. Other details include a long rear drape with an adjustable hem, open rear pockets and zippered front pocket, and reflective accents for safety.
