Esker Cycles just released four brand new colors of their super versatile 27.5+ steel hardtail, the Hayduke. Find additional photos and learn more here…
The Hayduke is Montana-based Esker Cycles’ take on the perfect hardtail. It’s based around modern, versatile geometry, custom-drawn 4130 Chromoly steel tubing, and has clearance for up to 27.5 x 3.0″ tires. The Hayduke comes with Esker’s Portage Dropout System to easily swap between different drivetrain types, hub widths, and wheel sizes, providing over 10mm of chainstay length adjustment.
The Hayduke saw a complete redesign in 2018 and updated specs and build kits in 2020. The latest lineup hasn’t received any major updates but is now available in four attractive new colors. The Hayduke can be purchased as a frameset or in one of three complete builds ranging from $1,500 USD (H1 Build) to $2,800 (H3 Build). All builds feature a 140mm travel fork, 27.5 x 2.8″ Terrene Mcfly tires, a wide-range 12-speed drivetrain, and a dropper post. For those more interested in a 29″ steel hardtail, check out the Esker Japhy that we reviewed earlier this year.
The new colors are Koi (white/red), Darkness (black/yellow), Platinum (silver/blue), and Bluebird (blue/green). The Hayduke is available now directly from EskerCycles.com.
