Revel Bikes’ fully recyclable FUSIONFIBER RW30 wheels and rims were just updated with a fresh look, stronger layup, and new rim dimensions and profile. Check them out here…

Revel Wheels stirred up the mountain bike wheel game three years ago with the introduction of the their first FUSIONFIBER rims. According to Revel, the manufacturing process uses no environmentally harmful/brittle epoxy and can be fully recycled into other parts, while also making them lighter, stronger, and offering a better ride quality than traditional thermoset carbon rims. I spent one year testing out those original wheels (and continue using them today) and have been impressed with how they’ve handled trail riding and bikepacking.

Today, Revel has updated their made-in-America, recyclable carbon rim with even more strength, better durability, and some fresh graphics for a more subdued look. They’ve added more material around the spoke holes, increased the width of the bead wall for a 23% increase in impact resistance, and given them a raw finish with stealthy graphics.
