It’s the tail end of one of our busiest seasons here at BIKEPACKING.com, and with it comes a slew of awards, gear lists, and personal picks. While it’s always fun to look back on our favorite moments, it’s also the time the team comes together to coalesce what we think are the best and most worthwhile products of the past year. Undoubtedly, the best part about the site is our dedication to unbiased reviews, with a skew toward products that will stand the test of time.
It’s a value and practice we take pretty seriously here at the site and something I hold dear. In a new video on the YouTube channel, I spoke to some of the products that I had experiences with from our Gear of the Year list. In it, I give some personal thoughts on the products that made it onto the list, while also offering an inside look at the process that produces our carefully selected end-of-year content. With things like the Coros Dura, Microshift Sword Black, and Manitou Mattoc Pro fork, it’s a list that runs the gamut of upgrades and worthy selections.
