Redesigned from the ground up, the new 2025 State Carbon All-Road features clearance for 29 x 2.2″ tires, integrated downtube storage, more mounting points, and fresh graphics and geometry. Learn more here…
Building on the popularity of the wallet-friendly 4130 All-Road, a carbon variation was released two years ago as a lighter-weight alternative with many of the same promising specs. The latest version of the State Carbon All-Road is still designed around a T800 carbon fiber frame and fork, but they’ve seen a complete redesign that makes it “faster and more capable,” according to State.
The 2025 State Carbon All-Road now uses the SRAM UDH rear dropout standard, threaded T47 bottom bracket, and has integrated downtube storage for ride essentials. It maintains 29 x 2.2″ or 27.5 x 2.4″ tire clearance, multiple bottle mounts, three-pack mounts on the fork legs, and now has dedicated rear rack mounts. The frame can accommodate 1x and 2x drivetrains and has a slick molded front derailleur plate cover for riders using 1x setups. They’ve also transitioned from standard internal cable routing to headset-routed cables with an external cockpit for easier accessibility when needed.

The State Carbon All-Road is available in five sizes (XS-XL) with a 71.2°-72.3° head tube angle, 74.1°-72.5° seat tube angle, generous 78mm bottom bracket drop, and short head tube that State calls their “race geometry” that’s meant to be “lightning-fast while stable enough for endurance adventures.” Dig into the full geometry chart below.

The complete builds have been upgraded from 11 to 12-speed drivetrains, wider rims to accommodate wider tires, increased spoke counts for better durability, and the 15° flared drop bar has been swapped out for a 33° flare for control and comfort on rough terrain. As per usual, State offers plenty of optional upgrades to the stock build kit, including adding a second complete wheel setup (650b or 700c) for $300, including wheels, tires, tubes, rotors, and cassette! There are also several wheel upgrade options and drivetrain upgrades to run a mullet setup with a 11-50T cassette or even wireless SRAM APEX setups.

The 2025 State Carbon All-Road is available as a frameset (frame + fork) for $1,300 in the Dusty Merlot colorway; the white “team edition” frameset costs an additional $100. Complete builds start at $2,300 and $2,400, respectively.
