New Mexican bag maker Tribulus just released updated versions of their ultralight, top-opening handlebar bag, the Endover, which is now offered in an Ultragrid or ULTRA fabric construction. Learn more about the latest Tribulus Endover and Mini-Endover here…

Owned and operated by Nathan Meyerson, Tribulus is a one-person operation based out of Santa Fe, New Mexico. While Tribulus has offered a few accessory bags over the years, their top-opening handlebar bag, the Endover, is their flagship product. Nathan took a few months off from sewing this fall between running a FreeBikes4Kids workshop and his day job at The Broken Spoke in Santa Fe, but he’s been busy building up inventory for spring. Starting off 2025, Nathan released some updated Tribulus Endovers and a fresh website.

The latest Tribulus Endover handlebar bag uses the same simple yet functional design that Cass reviewed, but the latest batch is made from Challenge Ultragrid instead of Ecopak EPX200. A black EPX200 version is still being offered for those who prefer it, but Nathan says he prefers the softer feel of the Ultragrid fabric.

A new offering for 2025 is a full Challenge ULTRA200/400 seam-taped Endover and Mini-Endover, offering best-in-class weight and water resistance. Seam-taped bags were never a cost-effective option for Tribulus, but pairing it with a premium fabric option works with their cottage-production model. Also new for this year is the inclusion of side pockets for the Mini-Endovers, which Nathan managed to add without increasing the weight of the bag.

The Mini-Endover holds 10-15 liters, and the Endover holds a whopping 18-25 liters. The ULTRA versions weigh 326 grams and 375 grams, respectively. The Ultragrid models weigh 368 grams and 425 grams, respectively.
