Calling All Organizers: Contribute to the 2026 Bikepacking Events Calendar!

It’s hard to believe our events calendar has been running for just shy of a decade. It started with mostly races and non-competitive group rides but has grown into a massive collection of meetups, workshops, industry events, and more from around the globe. In 2024, there were nearly 300 events listed in the calendar, and we matched that number in 2025. There were also some exciting new events that earned a spot in our 2025 Bikepacking Awards, including Pedaleo in Switzerland, Building Momentum in Canada, the West Texas Showdown in the US, and Canada’s new Golden Horseshoe Race.

I’ve been sourcing new events and responding to 2026 event submissions, and we’re already closing in on 200 events! I have a good feeling that 2026 is shaping up to be our largest collection yet, making it an invaluable resource for folks planning a trip, a race, or simply looking for like-minded individuals or a community.

Adding your event to the calendar is free and can reach our ever-growing global network of readers and riders. We’ve heard repeatedly from event organizers that many participants learn about their events through the calendar, and we’re glad to do our part.
