Named after Devil’s Mountain, a man-made hill outside of Berlin that was home to a U.S. listening station during the Cold War, the TFLSBERG is the 8bar’s all-new “bikepacking 2.0” rig. The 8bar TFLSBERG is designed to carry a lot of stuff and perform well on long days in the saddle. It features a reinforced steel frame and aluminum fork with a geometry that’s more relaxed in contrast to 8bar’s MITTE gravel bike. MOUNT ANYTHING
The TFLSBERG has a lot of mounting options, including five bottle cages on the frame (two in the triangle and three under the downtube) and four three-pack Anything Cage mounts on the fork and seat stays.
CURVED SEATSTAYS
The TFLSBERG features curved seat stays that are designed to offer increased flex for a comfortable ride. In addition, this helps avoid heel interference with luggage mounted to cages on the stays.
REINFORCED FRAME CONSTRUCTION
The TFLSBERG is designed for long off-road bikepacking tours and has butted tubing and frame reinforcements at the head tube to beef it up for added carrying capacity.
DROPPER SEATPOST OPTION
The frame has internal routing for a dropper seat post.
SUSPENSION FORK (OPTIONAL)
A suspension fork is possible on the TFLSBERG with an installation length of about 500mm (480mm fork length).
