Adidas just announced The Gravel Cycling Shoe, a wild looking new breed of footwear designed for adventurous mixed-surface rides and extended gravel rambling. Learn more here…

Adidas is on a roll with their new cycling shoe lineup, building on the Samba-inspired Adidas Velosamba that was released back in March. Their latest design, which Adidas calls The Gravel Cycling Shoe, is said to offer the power of a road shoe but with the design of more off-road oriented footwear. They feature a lace-up closure, an integrated cuff to seal out dust and gravel, and an outsole that Adidas claims has a walkable and roomy fit.

The Adidas Gravel Cycling Shoe is made from Primegreen, a series of high-performance recycled materials. 50% of the upper is recycled content and there is no virgin polyester used. They use a standard two-bolt cleat design, the three stripes on the side of the shoe are reflective for added visibility, and they appear to have a nice grippy sole that extends all the way out to the front of the shoe for hiking and grip on uneven terrain.
