Apidura from the UK just launched a modular Cargo Cage and matching Cargo Cage Pack that’s designed to fit all types of bikes and mounting needs. Get a look at all the different configurations the combo can handle here…
Straight out of Apidura’s Innovation Lab, the UK-based brand just released their first cargo cage, which comes with a modular foot for compatibility with double and triple bolt mounts. The standalone two-bolt base looks ideal for securing small loads like a tool kit and spare tube, while the addition of the optional foot turns it into a full-blown three-bolt cargo cage for lashing down larger fork bags. Apidura says their aim was to cut through the confusion between all the different cages made for different mounting situations and bikes by providing a flexible solution that adapts to all.
Alongside the new cargo cage, they also released the Expedition Cargo Cage Pack, which is optimized for areas with limited clearances, such as underneath the downtube. Offering 1.3 liters of storage at just 70g, it’s designed to complement the Apidura Cargo Cage, though it will work with any other one, too, thanks to the versatile attachment straps of the bag. Like all Apidura bags, it’s fully waterproof, and this one comes with a purge valve for easy compression.
