The new Big Agnes Fly Creek collection takes the existing Fly Creek UL 1 and UL 2 tents, which make fantastic bikepacking shelters, and adds two new sleeping bag/quilt options for those looking to build a new sleep system. Like the tents, both the Big Agnes Fly Creek UL sleeping bag and Fly Creek UL Quilt are made without intentionally added PFAS and using fabrics derived from recycled fishing nets.
Big Agnes Fly Creek UL 25°
The Big Agnes Fly Creek UL 25° is an ultralight, down-filled sleeping bag for folks who prioritize a minimalist, packable kit. It uses diamond-shaped, stitched-through baffles to prevent down migration and, according to Big Agnes, saves weight and improves loft compared to traditional baffles. The shell and liner fabric are made of ultralight recycled NetPlus 10D nylon ripstop with a water-repellent finish without intentionally added PFAS.
The Fly Creek UL 25° is insulated with 850-fill Downtek PFC-Free down treated with a Bluesign-approved water-repellent chemistry without intentionally added PFAS. It features a minimal hood with a low-profile cord lock, a slim mummy fit, insulated zipper and draft collars, and a half-length center zipper. The regular length model packs down to 8″ x 9.5″ (20 x 24cm) and weighs 722 grams. The long version packs down to 8″ x 10″ (20 x 25cm) and weighs 799 grams. It has a comfort rating of 35°F (2°C) but can be pushed down to 25°F (-4°C).

Big Agnes Fly Creek UL Quilt
The Fly Creek UL Quilt shares a similar quilted baffle design as the sleeping bag but is better suited for warm-weather trips with a comfort rating of 59°F (15°C). It’s made from the same 10D nylon fabric, 850 fill-power, and insulated zipper and draft collars. It has a full-length zipper that allows the quilt to be opened as a blanket or zipped closed plus an interesting stitched-in footbox for a fully enclosed system.
The regular length versions weighs 434 grams (15.3 ounces) and packs down to 6.5″ x 8″ (17 x 20cm). The long version weighs 482 grams (17 ounces) and packs down to 6.5″ x 8.5″ (17 x 22cm).
