It’s been roughly two months since we introduced the new Bikepacking Collective Basecamp and the Bike Camp Co-op buy/sell feature, and the listings keep on coming! Check out some of the most interesting recent additions and learn about great deals on bikepacking bags, bikes, components, and more here…

As many readers know, we officially launched Basecamp in March, our newest suite of member tools following Bucket List, Bookmarks, and Ride Log, after which we first announced back in 2022. It took a little longer than planned, and along the way, a few other outlets picked up on some of our ideas for member-specific web-based utilities. Despite the delay, we’re excited to share that Basecamp has been a resounding success so far, and we have a range of further upgrades already in the pipeline.

One of the modules in Basecamp is the Bike Camp Co-op, an area where members can buy and sell used bikes, components, bags, camping gear, and more. Continuing our bi-weekly series spotlighting interesting finds in the Co-op, I took the opportunity to list nearly 20 items from my horde, including some excellent bags, tents, racks, and even one of my all-time favorite bikes, which I’m a little sad to see. Jump in and take a look. Also, here are few more interesting listings I came across while browsing the latest listings. Dig in below!

Bikes

There are a dozens of great bikes listed in the Co-op right now, including my SolarisMax (and my Fairlight Faran, which I can’t believe hasn’t been snatched up). There’s also this sweet Singular Puffin from Ryan in Tennessee, a slick-looking Soma Grand Randonneur in Germany, and a few good deals on frames, such as this Cotic Cascade with a Rogue Panda frame bag and a brand-new M/L Nordest Sardinha frameset.

Racks and Bags

There are quite a few racks and bags for sale, too. Remember this Tubus Vega Evo with bottle mount mods? There’s also a great deal on a Tumbleweed Pannier Rack in Asheville, North Carolina, and a bolt-on Rockgeist frame bag for a 56cm Sutra LTD/ULTD.

Components

There are also plenty of good deals on components in the Co-op, including loads of tires, including this new pair of 29 x 2.6″ Specialized Butchers in Nebraska and these 700c x 45mm Vulpines in North Carolina (shameless plug). I’m also offering up this SRAM AXS lever/brake set, and it’s hard to ignore this sweet Mone Meal Replacement Bar in Gunnison, Colorado!

Gear and Accessories

There are a few good deep cuts as well. Somebody might want to grab this GDMBR Map Set for $20, and if you’re camp chair curious, I posted a Nemo Moonlight that’s in excellent condition.

Thanks to all of our members who continue to support our efforts (and post their used gear on the Basecamp Bike Camp Co-op!). It means a lot to our small team. For readers who are unfamiliar, you can learn more about Basecamp here. The Bike Camp Co-op module allows our members to buy, sell, and trade bikes, components, camping equipment, bikepacking bags, and accessories with like-minded folks in the Bikepacking Collective. Plus, you can find excellent, members-only deals on gear our team has reviewed and received. Note that you must be a Sustainer or Builder to list items, but all members can shop/buy.
