Antoine Bussier has been creating and sharing videos in his Bikepacking Colors series since 2019, all dedicated to the art of long-distance, self-supported cycling. He tried something a little different for his 10th episode, shooting fully in black and white for the first time, a choice he said he made because some journeys deserve to be stripped down to the essentials.
Corsica is a place that famously bursts with color, from the vivid blues of the Mediterranean to the lush greenery and the red-hued cliffs, but removing the saturation helped bring the focus to the real subject of the video: his relationship with his partner. Antoine’s 10th video paints a deeply intimate portrait of the pair as they connect on a bikepacking trip away from screens, routine, and the bustle of everyday life, instead savoring the slowness of time away together on two wheels. Watch it above.
