Bombtrack just unveiled the bikepacking-centric Beyond+ 29, an entry-level 29er with plenty of mounts and a new SEIDO BPS steel fork. Find the full list of specs and pricing and watch their intro video here…
Bombtrack is expanding its adventure lineup with the the new Beyond+ 29, a more affordable 29er aimed to keep bikepacking accessible without skimping on the essentials. The new model has a 4130 double-butted chromoly frame with thru-axles, full rack and fender mounts, Boost spacing, internal dropper routing, and a 73mm BSA threaded bottom bracket. Positioned below the Beyond+ ADV, the Beyond+ 29 differentiates itself with a SRAM SX 12-speed drivetrain and a different handlebar and tires. Plus, it swaps the SEIDO Taza we reviewed with the brand’s BPS steel fork, featuring eyelets for a fender and rack, three-pack mounts, and internal dynamo cable routing.
All in all, the Bombtrack Beyond+ 29 appears to be a straightforward, burly platform aimed at riders who want an approachable frameset for long miles and big loaded tours at a friendlier price than the ADV. Find the geometry chart and build details below.
