Designed with versatility and comfort in mind, the Brodie Mega Tour 2.0 features a wide-range 2 x 11 drivetrain, a new carbon fork, and inner bar ends for additional hand positions. Find all the details here…

Brodie launched the Mega Tour in 2021 and described it as an “alternative adventure touring bike.” At the time, its Jones-style handlebars, interesting angles, and $1,300 price tag positioned it as a capable and affordable bikepacking bike. I shared my thoughts on it here, but to summarize, it offered great value and handled the weight of a bikepacking setup well, though there was certainly room for improvement.

The new Mega Tour 2.0 promises many of the same things as the original version but is based around an entirely new frame and fork design. The frame is still made from a lightweight 6061 aluminum and, like the first version, is plastered in mounts for racks and cages. The fork has been upgraded to a carbon construction with three-pack mounts on each side, it uses thru-axles front and back, the rear dropout is now SRAM UDH, and they’ve switched to internal cable routing.

The build kit Brodie put together has also been refined with the new design. They’ve switched from two-piston brakes to four-pistons, it’s specced with 29 x 2.6″ WTB Ranger tires, and it now features a Shimano CUES 2×11 drivetrain with an 11-45T cassette and 36/22T front chainrings. They’ve also added inner bar ends for a secondary hand position, which is a nice touch to see from a production bike. The frame has internal dropper post routing, is offered in four sizes, and comes in a single mustard color option.
