Brooks England just announced several fresh additions to its Scape line of waterproof bikepacking bags, as well as a few updates to existing offerings. See what’s new here…
Brooks England has been regularly refining and adding to its Scape bikepacking bag collection since its initial release in November 2020, and the latest update includes three new bags and a new color offering for several existing bags. Their newest releases broaden the range of compatible frame sizes and open up a couple of new options for storing quick-access items.
Brooks Scape Frame Bag Large
The brand’s popular half-frame, waterproof Scape Frame Bag has been sized up to fit larger frames and longer items such as tent poles and pumps. It has a 3.5-liter capacity and measures about 19.6″ inches long, up from 18″ long on the standard version. Inside, the bag features two separate pockets for organization and a waterproof cable port. It has easy-pull zippers on both sides, a reflective logo for added visibility, and attaches via Hypalon straps. It’s priced at $115, weighs 215 grams, and is available in Black and Mud.
Brooks Scape Top Tube Bag Long
The all-new Scape Top Tube Bag Long features a two-way zipper for easy access to items, and its larger size opens up the range of items that can fit inside while still having a small enough footprint to remain out of the way as you ride. It has a 1.5-liter capacity, is 14.5″ long, and weighs in at 100 grams. It has a reflective logo, waterproof front cable port, easy-pull zippers, and attaches via lower Hypalon straps and a front strap with a buckle. The Scape Top Tube Bag Long costs $70 and is offered in Black and Mud.
Brooks Scape Top Tube Bag with Bolts
As its name suggests, Brooks’ new Scape Top Tube Bag with Bolts is a small top tube bag that allows for bolt-on attachment (or using straps, should your frame not have mounts). It has a modest 0.9-liter capacity, is 8.2″ long, and weighs just 100 grams. As with the other new items in the Scape collection, it boasts reflective details, a single easy-pull zipper, and a waterproof front cable port. And like its longer cousin, it’s offered in Black and Mud and is priced at $70.
Brooks Scape Bags Now in Black
In addition to the new bags outlined above, Brooks has also added black versions of the Handlebar Roll ($150), Seat Bag ($160), Full Frame Bag ($140), and Feed Pouch ($55), which were previously only available in Mud. The remaining bags in the range are presently still only offered in the Mud colorway, though we expect to see those updated at some point.
