Carradice is no stranger to bag racks, and their saddlebag supports are some of the most popular options out there for supporting top-opening saddle bags. It’s great to see Carradice bringing a similar design to the front of the bike with their new Bagman Universal Bar Rack, a handlebar-mounted support rack for carrying any type of front bag or pack.
The Bagman Universal Bar Rack is made the UK, weighs 375 grams, and can fit 25.4mm and 31.8mm diameter handlebars with the included neoprene spacer strips. The handlebar clamps can be flipped so the support either mounts on top or below the handlebars, depending on how much clearance you have above your front tire. Mounted on top, the drop from mounting on top of handlebars is 16 cm (6.3″); from the bottom, it’s 22 cm (8.6″). The rack has a weight limit of 6 kilograms (12 pounds) and comes with the solid stainless support, two cast alloy clamps with bolts, and the handlebar spacers.
