Having passed the 1,000th listing mark, there’s plenty of fantastic used gear in the Bike Camp Co-op to dig into! In this edition of Co-op Finds, we take a look at a Surly ECR, Why Cycles Wayward, a large Buffalo Bag, a few pieces of bikepacking kit from MSR, and so much more…
We launched our Bikepacking Collective Basecamp tools in March, and we’re now celebrating our first 1,000 Bike Camp Co-op buy/sell/trade listings of used bikes, components, bags, camping gear, and more. Continuing our series spotlighting interesting finds from around the Co-op, I rounded up several fresh items, including some excellent bikes, bags, components, and more. If you’re in the market, jump in and take a look.
Bikes
There are a number of truly excellent offerings in the bike section of the Co-op right now. Chief among them this much-beloved Surly ECR frame, a Salsa El Mariachi frame and frame bag, a Why Wayward v1, and a titanium Esker Hayduke frame. There are also a few completes that would be perfect for anyone looking for something to bikepack with, like this Rohloff’d Salsa Fargo.
Bags
With many great bags in the Co-op, this top tube bag from Rogue Panda could complement an existing setup quite well, along with this Apidura Expedition Saddle Pack. This Buffalo Cordura Bag is a great option, as are these Burley Panniers and Restrap Race Top Tube Bag.
Components
The components section of the Co-op has a few gems in it at the moment, such as these TRP HY/RD calipers for European members, a Redshift Shockstop Suspension Stem, some OneUp Aluminum Pedals, and a Surly Standard Rear Disc Rack.
Gear and Accessories
The gear portion of the Co-op is a great place to add to your bikepacking essentials, with this MSR WindBurner cook system, a Big Agnes Tiger Wall UL3, an MSR Whisperlite international, or a Big Agnes Copper Spur 2.
Thanks again to all of our members who continue to support our efforts (and post their used gear on the Basecamp Bike Camp Co-op). It means a lot to our small team. For readers who are unfamiliar, you can learn more about Basecamp here. The Bike Camp Co-op module enables our members to buy, sell, and trade bikes, components, camping equipment, bikepacking bags, and accessories with like-minded folks in the Bikepacking Collective. Plus, you can find excellent members-only deals on gear our team has reviewed and received. Note that you must be a Sustainer or Builder to list items, but all members can shop/buy.
