Our latest Collective Reward comes courtesy of Joe Tonsager, the owner and operator of JPaks (@j_paks) in Denver, Colorado, who has kindly offered to build a made-to-measure FramePak for one lucky member of our Bikepacking Collective. Joe has been creating beautiful bike bags for years, and you’ll likely have noticed them on rigs scattered throughout the site. We’ve been meaning to visit him in his workspaces for ages, and Neil finally made it there to spend some time getting to know him earlier this spring (find that linked in the Related Content grid below).
The winner of Collective Reward #130 will be entered into Joe’s custom bag queue and will be able to work with him to dream up their ideal frame bag in their choice of colors, features, size, and shape, creating a one-of-a-kind bag that suits their exact tastes and needs. Bolt-on or lace-up, half frame or full frame, funky patterns or classic styling—all of Joe’s bags are customized at every step of the way, and he doesn’t offer any off-the-peg frame bag options. Our winner’s bag will be unique to them.
You find plenty of frame bag inspiration by browsing the custom gallery over at JPaks.com, where you can also check out his small range of pre-made products, including top tube bags, dropper packs, stem bags, and handlebar rolls.
