Collective Reward giveaway #149 comes from Old Man Mountain and North St. Bags in Oregon. For this reward, we’ll be randomly selecting a member of our Bikepacking Collective and handing off a new Divide rack and a pair of co-branded Adventure Micro panniers. Read on for details.
If you’re looking for a rack that’s compatible with almost any bike, right up to the diameter and width of 29+ wheels, it’s hard to find anything more versatile than the Old Man Mountain Divide. It can be used as a front rack, a rear rack, direct mounted to the frame, or with the optional thru-axle kit, all the while hauling everything from panniers stuffed with gear to a basket or milk crate on its generous top platform. The Divide included in this Collective Reward comes with a direct mounting kit (the winner will need to procure the axle that fits their bike if they choose to mount it in that configuration).
With the launch of the Elkhorn rack, Old Man Mountain collaborated with North St. Bags on a slate gray version of the new Adventure Micro Panniers (more on those here). These are based on the same minimalist design as the brand’s original micro pannier, but they use a sturdy velcro attachment system for off-road use. They’re super nice, lightweight, and should make a great kit for one lucky winner.
